It Ain't Half Hot Mum is a British television sitcom, written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.Set in 1945 during the last months of the Second World War, the series follows members of a concert party of the Royal Artillery.The series ran for eight series, which were broadcast on BBC1 from 3 January 1974 to 3 September 1981. Each series had between six and eight episodes.
